Jason Day almost quit golf the week before his first Masters: video
With a spot in the field at Augusta, Jason Day had to be talked into playing his first Masters.
Here are nice couple of clips from an upcoming episode of David Feherty’s show featured on The Golf Channel. Feherty chats with Jason Day and the 2015 US PGA Champion reveals he having a rough time on the golf course ahead of his first Masters Tournament in 2011. The year he finished in a tie for second with Adam Scott.
Day also chats a little more about his early years and how an old club found at the dump began his journey to golf.
Feherty is shown in Australia on FoxSports from time to time but I’m not sure when this particular episode will be shown in Australia.
