Golfer plays a shot off the fence to get up and down: video
A guy by the name of Matt Wheatcroft played an extraordinary golf shot in this year’s British Par-3 Championship at Nailcote Hall Country Club in Warwickshire.
It’s being referred to as one of the great up-and down’s of all-time. It’s certainly one of the most extraordinary.
Australia needs more par-3 courses – and a par-3 championship!

Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m sure ther was a similar shot played maybe 15-18 years ago in the dunhill masters at St Andrews on the road hole. Where the player(name eludes me) hit into the brick wall and even managed to spin the ball. Would be good if someone could dig that footage up, because that is hands down the best I have ever seen in golf!
Spot on Andrew. I think a few may have done it but this was Miguel Angel Jiminez doing it in 2010.
