Golfer sets new world record for World’s Longest Putt

A new world record has been set for the world’s longest putt after a golfer made a putt from a remarkable 401 feet.

We missed this last month but breaking the world record for the longest putt is too important not to share.

At The Baths of Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin, the 2023 World’s Longest Putt Finals took place on September 25. Eight golfers somehow made the field for the final, and a bloke by the name of Mike Born emerged as the champion, getting down in two on two occasions from 401 feet away.

Following the competition, the golfers stuck around to have a crack at the Guinness World Record. In the fading light, Jay Stocki took his shot at the 401-foot putt and successfully set a new world record.

The previous record for the world’s longest putt was set by the Australian lads How Ridiculous back in 2017.
