Golf Science: Why do golf balls have dimples?

We’ve been enjoying the new golf show on 7Two, The Bunker, particularly these slick-looking golf science related snippets they slot into each episode.

The Australian golf show is co-hosted by Anna Rawson, Shura Taft and Russell Robertson, and has been good so far. With any luck, they’ll get the go ahead to shoot another series at season’s end.
