Golf fans pocketed $100 as Bud Cauley knocked in a hole-in-one at Greenbrier Classic.
Ángel Cabrera won his first non-major PGA Tour event at the Greenbrier Classic on the weekend but fans went away happier than usual after pocketing $100 each after a hole-in-one at the par-3 18th hole.
The tournament ran a promotion that would see each fan pocket $100 if they were in the stands when a player knocks in a hole-in-one. And Bud Cauley obliged that saw a load of fans go home a lot happier, as well as one lucky fan having his mortgage paid off.
Nice promotion and a nice incentive to get to the golf. It’s all about the fans you know.
And here are the highlights of Cabrera winning his first, non-major PGA Tour golf tournament. Make sure you check out his little club twirl and hole-out for eagle on the 13th.
