Glenn Maxwell and Minjee Lee hit the driving range: Women’s Australian Open video
Ahead of this week’s Australian Women’s Open, Minjee Lee and Glenn Maxwell smashed a few golf balls at Royal Melbourne.
We bumped into Glenn “The Big Show” Maxwell while watching Australian Amateur Championship at The Australian Golf Club a few weeks ago. Maxwell’s enthusiasm for golf was incredible and it was obvious he was a golf tragic.
Despite him telling us he didn’t have a driver in the bag at the time (and wasn’t really required), Maxwell took some time out of his busy Cricket World Cup schedule to duel it out with Minjee Lee ahead of this week’s ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open at Royal Melbourne.
It’s not immediately clear who can hit the longer golf ball – it’s obvious who could hit the straightest one. Out of bounds doesn’t give you six runs in small ball game.
A few famous cricket names out watching the action this afternoon. #thebigshow #AusAm @Gmaxi_32 @blewy214 pic.twitter.com/enxal4hXOa
