Even the world’s best golfer can play a shot like you.

Here is a shot you may be familiar with – the low, fat duck-hook after pulling out a fairway wood trying to hit it that little bit too hard.

What may not be familiar is the sight of world number one Rory McIlroy on the end of it. McIlroy played this shocker during the second round of the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. Going into today’s final round, he is four shots behind joint leaders Henrik Stenson and Rafa Cabrera-Bello.

Kind of comforting to see I suppose.
