European Tour golfer makes birdie, then proposes to his girlfriend: video
We’re pretty sure this hasn’t been done much before, a golfer gets engaged on the golf course.
During his second round of the ‘Made in Denmark’ European Tour event, Denmark’s Andreas Hartø had just made birdie at the famous 16th hole.
It was then he decided to propose marriage to his girlfriend although by the reaction from the crowd, it seemed that maybe a few more people were clued into what was about to occur.
Hartø’s girlfriend didn’t appear to be in on the imminent proposal though. After saying ‘yes’, Hartø went on to par the closing two holes but missed out on making the cut by five shots.
