Dustin Johnson on fire; wins WGC Dell Match Play: video highlights
Dustin Johnson has asserted his authority on world golf after winning his third tournament in a row with victory at the WGC Dell Match Play in Texas.
The world number one was dominant in all his early matches at the WGC Dell Match Play and never trailed in all 112 holes he played across the tournament. But a late surge from Spain’s Jon Rahm meant Johnson had to fight for the title, eventually claiming a 1up victory at the final hole.
Johnson now extends his lead at the top of the world golf rankings, has all four WGC titles to his name and will arrive at Augusta National in two weeks time as the outright favourite to win his first green jacket.
