Ever wondered how a hard  golf ball can be hit before it’s not a golf ball any more?

Destin Sandlin at the always awesome Smarter Every Day YouTube channel has put together a piece of science craziness that is loosely related to golf.

Using a pressurized vacuum air cannon and some incredibly high frame rate cameras they work out how hard you can hit a golf ball before it permanently deforms out of shape.

King Island Classic raises over $21k for Make-A-Wish

The 2019 Essendon Fields King Island Classic held last month at Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes has made a series of wishes come true for critically ill children.

Competition golf rounds in Australia are on the up

The National Competition Rounds Report for 2018 has been released by the Australian Golf Industry Council.

Over 10.43 million rounds were recorded in 2018 by GolfLink, an increase of 182,388 rounds or 1.8% over 2017.

Rounds increased at similar rates in regional and metropolitan areas amongst males and females.
