Bowditch holes out for eagle, leads Texas Open: video
The short game of Steven Bowditch has been fantastic at the Valero Texas Open.
Australia’s Steven Bowditch leads the Valero Texas Open by three shots going into the final round. A win would earn the Novacastrian not only the biggest victory of his career but a place in the biggest tournament of his career, The 2014 Masters.
Bowditch has played three fantastic rounds of golf to take a commanding lead going into the final round. Only the ninth at TPC San Antonio has troubled Bowditch having made bogey, double-bogey and bogey the last three days.
If he can get through that hole without a blemish tomorrow he is a big chance to tee it up at Augusta National in a few weeks.
