Baddeley named by experts as one of world’s best putters
The US Golf Channel had an interesting discussion on the best putters in golf on the back of a great win by Brandt Snedeker on the weekend.
Sneneker won the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am by two shots and after some impressive performances in previous weeks, he now finds himself ranked as the world’s number four best golfer.
Australia’s Aaron Baddeley cropped up a number of times in the discussion as one of the world’s best putters along with Tiger Woods and Luke Donald. Baddeley is certainly one of the best and quickest on the PGA Tour, taking very little time between seeing the line and making the putt.
But if we just restricted the discussion to the Australian golfers, I’d be more inclined to back Greg Chalmers to make a five foot putt for victory under pressure than Badds. Any thoughts?
Aaron Baddeley has always been a fantastic putter. I’m pretty sure he always rank high on the putting statistics on the US PGA tour.
I do agree Greg Chalmers is very good as well and makes a lot of clutch 4 / 5 footers when it counts.
