Cool, short video from the team at Random Golf Club on the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, host course for the 2021 PGA Championship.

The only thing I would add is that while it’s true that The Ocean Course has never been lengthened to combat the ever-growing distances the professionals are hitting the golf ball, it’s because it was constructed at a ridiculous 7,876 yards in the first place.

That sort of distance from the back tees is looking less and less ridiculous each year as the pros get bigger, club technology gets better and the golf balls travel further than ever.
