2024 MASTERS Bryson DeChambeau slam dunks his third shot during Par-3 contest
The Masters Par-3 contest is a hit-and-giggle event. A place for golfers to relax and hang out with family ahead of the Masters Tournament that begins the next day.
The short course at Augusta National behind the pines on the eastern side of the 10th hole was designed specifically for entertainment with plenty of opportunities for holes-in-one.
Not all golfers played a complete round with Rickie Fowler being crowned the winner. It is a potential curse with no PAr-3 Contest winner yet to don the green jacket in the same week. A superstition many of the golfers are aware of with many letting their family and caddies take a shot in their place, rendering them disqualified.
There was a stack of aces with Sepp Straka, Luke List, Gary Woodland, Lucas Glover and Viktor Hovland all carding an ace at some stage.
However, there was a hole-out from the tee that didn’t count as a hole-in-one.
Bryson DeChambeau already dunked his ball in the water before he reloaded and dunked his golf ball in the hole.
