2023 PGA Championship: Australian TV, streaming times, and Australians in the field
The 2023 US PGA Championship arrives at Oak Hill Country Club in New York this week, and FoxSports and Kayo have the live broadcast.
Seven Australians including Adam Scott, Jason Day, and Cameron Smith are part of the confirmed field for the second major of 2023, the UPGA Championship.
They’ll be joined by Cam Davis, David Micheluzzi, Lucas Herbert and Min Woo Lee at the Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York which last hosted this major in 2013 when Jason Dufner finished two strokes ahead of Jim Furyk. Australia’s best performer that week; Adam Scott finished five shots behind Dufner in a tie for fifth place.
Perhaps the most notable absentee from the list of Australian golfers in the field this week is Marc Leishman.
While being a part of the LIV Golf Tour does not preclude Leishman from playing in the 2023 PGA Championship, his lowly world golf ranking does. With LIV Golf yet to be formally recognised for world ranking points, Leishman’s ranking has slipped to 129 in the world and he did not get an automatic spot in the event.
FoxSports (and Kayo) will be broadcasting the action from 11am on Thursday evening (AEST), beginning with a bunch of featured groups each day.
Also worth checking out is a bunch of extra video highlights and features over at the official US PGA Championship website.
