2018 RYDER CUP Final day video highlights – Europe defeat USA 17.5 to 10.5
In the end Europe beat USA 17.5 to 10.5, but the final day of the 2018 Ryder Cup was a lot closer and dramatic that perhaps the result indicates.
It was fitting that the moment Europe clinched the Ryder Cup back was the moment Francesco Molinari defeated Phil Mickelson 2&1 in his final singles match.
In doing so, Molinari became the first-ever European player to win all five matches at a Ryder Cup and Mickelson left Le Golf National without a point. Possibly as his last Ryder Cup as a player.
Woods, who Mickelson will play in a made-for-TV event in November also went winless throughout the week.
