2016 WGC Dell Match Play: Day 3 video highlights

Jason Day is the sole Australian to advance to the knock-out stages of the WGC Dell Match Play at Austin Country Club in Texas.

Day finished the round robin stage of the Dell Match Play undefeated after opponent Paul Casey withdrew due to illness through six holes on Friday.

Day was the only Australian to move through the final 16 knock-out stage of the tournament after topping his group. He will face Brandt Snedeker tomorrow morning after the American beat Charl Schwartzel 5&3.

Adam Scott was the only other Australian with a chance of making the weekend but blew his chance in the closing holes in his match against Bill Haas. Scott took a one hole lead going into the 17th hole but back-to-back birdies from Haas were enough to win the match and advance.

Defending champion Rory McIlroy and world number one Jordan Spieth also made their way through to the round of 16 matches to make for an enthralling weekend of match play golf.
