Zach Johnson accidentally hits golf ball on practice swing

This may be the most embarrassing thing we’ve seen a pro go on the golf course.

Zach Johnson prepared to hit his golf ball in the usual way on the par-5 13th tee during the second round of The Masters on Friday.

Although this time Johnson accidentally hit his golf ball on his practice swing which saw it ricochet off the tee marker and finish a few meters in front of him.

It saw Johnson let out an expletive and playing partners Kuchar and Poulter standing in disbelief. Check it out.

Luckily for Johnson there is no penalty in this situation as his golf ball is not yet in play and there was no intention to hit the golf ball.

Has it been on the fairway, in the rough or on the green it would’ve been a different story.

Kuchar and Poulter cab be heard saying they’d never seen anything like it before. We hadn’t either.

Was it worse than Jon Rahm’s earlier shank?
