WHAT?! Watch a golf ball finish on top of another player’s marker
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, a golf ball finishes up on another player’s marker.
It doesn’t sound like anyone has ever seen this happen before. At least not in pro golf.
Will Zalatoris hit a chip shot onto the green at the par-5 6th hole during his opening round of the Genesis Scottish Open. The ball clipped the edge of the hole before running on and finishing on top of Matt Fitzpatrick’s ball marker – a poker chip.
As the commentator says, it helps that Fitzpatrick’s ball marker is the size of a dustbin lid, but it’s still remarkable all the same.
