VIDEO / WGC DELL Technologies Match Play round 1 highlights

Dustin Johnson, Marc Leishman, Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson were among some of the big names who were beaten on day 1 of the 2018 WGC Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin, Texas.

Of the three Australians in the field, Jason Day and Cameron Smith got off to good starts with victory over James Hahn (4&2) and Patrick Cantlay (2up) respectively.

In perhaps the biggest upset of the day, Marc Leishman was beaten by 64th seed Julian Suri. Suri only earned a spot in the field this week after Joost Luiten withdrew but the little known American made the most of his opportunity defeating Leishman 3 and 2.
