Tiger Woods welcomes Adam Scott to TGL virtual golf league
Adam Scott is the sixth golfer to join the new TGL virtual golf league.
Despite his insistence that it isn’t for him, the idea of Adam Scott joining LIV Golf has never gone away given his good relationship with Greg Norman.
However, it seems that idea can be firmly put to rest with the announcement Scott has joined the TGL golf league started by Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, and the PGA Tour.
What is TGL golf again? A quick refresher…
In the words of TGL, it’s going to be a virtual, arena-style, tech-infused golf league shown on prime-time TV (in the US we’re assuming). It’ll feature a 15-match season taking place in a custom-built “data-rich” golf arena with a live audience and a short game area.
It’s hard to know exactly what this will be like but we’re guessing a weird golf-like Ninja Warrior atmosphere? This could be good fun – or very cheesy.
Anyway, the league has now signed up Tiger and Rory (obviously), Adam Scott, Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, and Collin Morikawa. This and LIV Golf – this should get interesting.
Thrilled to welcome @collin_morikawa and Adam Scott to @TGL. Our roster of players keeps getting better and better, and I can't wait to square off against these two when the league debuts next year. https://t.co/06MqRSocb1
