Thousands farewell Arnold Palmer at memorial service: photos and video
Almost a thousand people have gathered to pay their respects to The King, Arnold Palmer.
Nearly a thousand people have gathered at the basilica at Saint Vincent College in Arnold Palmer’s hometown of LaTrobe in Pennsylvannia to pay their respects to The King after he passed away last week.
Friends and family of Palmer attended the memorial service and included the greats of golf including some of the winning US Ryder Cup team who brought along the trophy to display in the basilica.
Jack Nicklaus, Annika Sorenstam, Tim Finchem and Jim Nantz were some of those in the golf community to speak at the two-hour service.
