The rotating green in the TGL arena is completely bonkers
The TGL’s bold reimagining of golf has unveiled a spectacle unlike anything seen before: a giant rotating green.
The TGL’s futuristic approach to golf has delivered its latest marvel: a rotating green inside its new stadium in Florida.
A recent video featuring PGA Tour professional Billy Horschel captures him testing the unconventional setup, which spins like a massive lazy Susan. Horschel, ever the professional, navigates the moving green with a mix of curiosity and concentration, giving fans a first glimpse of how this tech-infused league plans to shake up traditional golf.
Spearheaded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, the TGL—short for Tech-Infused Golf League— will start in January and aims to blend technology and sports entertainment in ways never seen before.
The rotating green is part of a fully immersive arena to enhance player performance and fan experience which will also include players from six-teams mic-d up and hitting golf shots into a giant screen, going head-to-head each week.
