Spring golf training session (and swooping magpies) with The Golf Doctor
Spring in Australia brings with it a promise of a more normal summer, a return to the golf for many who have been in lockdown and of course, swooping magpies.
So it’s probably time to get serious about shooting lower scores this summer, and you could do worse than follow Brian Fitzgerald’s fun training drill.
The Golf Doctor takes you through a session around the green aiming to get the ball in a 30-foot diameter bowl around the flagstick.
And we also had to share Brian’s encounter with a swooping magpie – see below. We’ve always said one of the hardest shots in Australian golf is the one you need to play with a magpie swooping around.
