Spectator hit in the face after wayward tee shot from Bowditch: video
This horrible video shows how dangerous it can be on the golf course.
Steven Bowditch got a little wayward off the tee at the par-4 11th hole at Huntingdale on Friday. His tee shot smashed into the face of a spectator breaking his nose.
It’s shocking to see but not unheard of on the golf course. I’m glad to hear that the spectator managed to get out of this with just a broken nose.
Bowditch had a tournament to forget and missed the cut and the spectator reportedly had his nose re-broken to set in back in place but went back out to watch the golf soon after. Hardcore.
