Marc Leishman talks about wife’s health scare to ESPN: video
Leishman has found a new perspective on the golf course after his wife’s illness.
After Marc Leishman’s first round victory over Justin Rose, he caught up with Michael Collins. Leishman not only chats about his great first up victory yesterday but discusses his wife’s near fatal illness that has given him a new perspective on the golf course.
ESPN’s Bob Harig supported the interview with a great article on the ESPN site:
“Every time I get a text off her … as close as we were to losing her, it still feels really cool that I can get text messages off her and just do that,” Leishman said after his 3-and-2 victory over Rose. “It’s just cool to have her around. I hope it stays that way forever.”
