Lyle blogs that he is eyeing off an October return to the PGA Tour.
A great piece popped up on GolfLink’s website last week where Jarrod Lyle has written about his return to the PGA Tour in 2014.
Lyle’s return at the Australian Masters last November was outstanding given where he has come from, but he is taking small steps and needs close to a full year to get himself in a position to compete on the world’s best golf tour again:
I have started to get in the gym a bit to work on my fitness and my strength, two areas I learnt a lot about from playing the Australian Masters. I found out that these needed the most work for me to get back to the PGA Tour and be competitive again. For people that know me they will know that I have never been a huge fan of the gym, so this is a big step forward but one I need to take to take it to the young guys on tour now.

It seems Jarrod is off to a good start. He took out the Goonawarra Golf Club Pro-Am last week.
A good start to 2014. A win at the goonawarra pro am today. 69 shots. More good rounds to come.
