Jason Day throws first pitch at Pittsburgh Pirates game: video
Ahead of this week’s US Open, Jason Day took his turn on the pitcher’s mound.
The 2016 US Open is here this week and arrives at Oakmont Country Club, just 30 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. As part of the pre-tournament promotion, world number one Jason Day was given the opportunity to throw out the first pitch.
Day looked relaxed but told reporters he was more comfortable “hitting a drive on the 18th at the US Open with the lead, than throw a pitch out here.”
For the record, Pittsburgh lost to St.Louis 9 – 3.
