It’s Australian Open week!

The fairways of The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney will be see the best field for a tournament in Australia this year including last year’s winner Greg Chalmers, tournament favourite Adam Scott and the great, great Tom Watson.

In addition though, we’re going to see Justin Rose aiming to become only the second European Tour winner of the event (only Lee Westwood has previously achieved the feat), former US and Australian Open champion Geoff Ogilvy is looking to find form, and Phoenix Open winner Kyle Stanley has made the trip to Sydney.

Keep an eye on the youngsters too. The future of Australian golf looks rosy with the likes of Jake Higginbottom, Oliver Goss and Cameron Smith looking at ease among the professional ranks. Not to mention 14-year-old Chinese prodigy Guan Tianlang.
