Fox Sports launches exclusive, dedicated Open Championship channel

FOX SPORTS is gearing up for its biggest ever coverage of The Open Championship, with fans able to watch the opening tee shot through to the end of play, all on a dedicated, 24/7 pop up channel.
FOX SPORTS More (Ch 507) will become the home of the year’s third major from Monday (17 July), before the EXCLUSIVELY LIVE action tees off from July 20.
In addition to start-to-finish coverage of every round, FOX SPORTS will show an additional hour of LIVE content recapping the action at the conclusion of play each day.
FOX SPORTS viewers will also have access to bonus Open Championship content via Foxsports.com.au and the FOX SPORTS App, including continuous coverage of holes 12, 13 and 14, plus fans can follow the progress of a marquee group as they tackle Royal Birkdale.
Australia’s number one multi sports website will also be the destination for fans to follow the action online, with a dedicated Open Championship section delivering the latest news, highlights, leader board plus players to watch.
Fans can warm up to the live play by reliving some of The Open’s most memorable rounds and best shots, plus 60-minute highlights packages of past tournaments.
A contingent of ten Australians, including Jason Day, Adam Scott and Marc Leishman will vie for a maiden title, as they look to end a 23-year drought for Australians at The Open.
