The extraordinary water shot from Bill Haas needs a second look.
There is no doubt that Bill Haas’ golf shot from out of the water to save par on the second playoff hole on the weekend was amazing. It meant the playoff moved to the next hole which he won. The Tour Championship, the Fed Ex Cup Trophy and $11.4million were his.
But I didn’t realise just how quickly he took to play the shot until Geoff Shackleford highlighted it. The video of the shot and subsequent replays is below but take a look just how quickly he sums up the shot and plays it.

Seems like a difficult shot but Haas made it as simple as it looks.
