Driving range installs giant TV screen, on the range
Spending time at the driving range can be boring, so why not watch TV while you do it?
In what is a first for world golf, Moore Park Golf have installed a giant TV screen on the their driving range.
According to the Moore Park Golf website, the screens specs are:
The new addition to one of Australia’s best public golf courses is 6.6m in height, and features a 22m2 screen, a custom-built protective net and weighs 6.2 tonnes. It is secured by 2m long ground screws and will screen at an HD 720P quality.
Cool huh?
In addition to giving something for golfers to aim at, the screen will show swing tips, major sporting events, live social media interaction and of course, commercials. But most golfers I know quite like seeing golf commercials.
Perhaps this will give them an extra incentive to head to the range.
