Check out one of the best shanks you’ll ever see, from a pro

There is nothing pretty about a shank, except when this happens.

European Tour pro Joachim Hansen found himself in a greenside bunker during the third round of the Nedbank Golf Challenge tournament in Sun City. South Africa and had some issues making good contact with the golf ball.

Hansen didn’t quite clip the golf ball as he would have liked. The shank saw the ball veer off, hard-right only to get a nice bounce off the grass face of the bunker and roll out to within feet of the hole.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a shank finish up so well. Magnificent.
