Australian PGA: “Wear Green for Adam Scott Day”

Bust out those green jacket’s and wear them to the golf on Friday.

Friday at the Australian PGA Championship has been declared “Wear Green for Adam Scott Day” to celebrate Adam Scott’s return home with the green jacket.

The PGA of Australia are encouraging golf fans attending the second round to wear green to show their pride in Adam Scott’s historic achievement.

“The whole of Australia was buzzing with excitement following Adam’s momentous victory at Augusta National in April,” said Brian Thorburn, CEO of the PGA of Australia.

“This will be Adam’s first tournament back on Australian soil and, with the tournament being played in Adam’s hometown of the Gold Coast, we wanted to provide a welcome home befitting his achievement whilst also giving fans the chance to celebrate.”

Fans attending the Australian PGA Championship presented by Coca-Cola on ‘Wear Green for Adam Scott Day’ will be encouraged to wear a touch of green or go all out and design costumes that flood RACV Royal Pines Resort in the colour synonymous with the US Masters.

The 2013 Australian PGA Championship will be telecasted on OneHD and Channel Ten. Tickets are available via Ticketek.
