2014 Open Championship: A short history of Hoylake video

Golfing World give us a nice overview of the history of Hoylake – the home of Royal Liverpool Golf Club.

And Hoylake is home of this week’s 2014 Open Championship!

There is some great old footage here. Some great shots of Walter Hagen and of course Peter Thomson, who won his third consecutive Open Championship at Hoylake in 1956.
