Tiger Woods wins fifth Masters green jacket

Over ten years since his last major victory, Tiger Woods has won the Masters Tournament.

In doing so, Tiger Woods has perhaps recorded the greatest victory in professional golf, grabbing his fifth green jacket and his 15th career major championship win in the process.

The one stroke victory over Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Xander Schauffele came after a difficult front nine hanging close to overnight leader Francesco Molinari.

Three back nine birdies saw Woods break into the lead and arrive at the 18th tee with a two-stroke cushion.

After all Woods has been through, it’s simply an extraordinary victory.
