Playing the abandoned golf courses: Belair Park Golf Club

From the department of “Playing abandoned golf courses” comes this video of a bloke in jeans and thongs playing golf

Clearly from earlier this year when the weather was a little warmer, this bloke in jeans and thongs plays the old 18th hole at the abandoned Belair Park Golf Course in the Adelaide Hills.

And with the aide of a drone he documents how he played the hole and for some reason we found it a little mesmerizing.

We think playing abandoned golf courses should become a thing. If it isn’t already.

The Belair Park Golf Club closed in early 2018 after the owner went into administration. It’s sad to see the place in this state and last we heard the SA government were looking for expressions of interest to either reactivate the golf course or turn it into something else. See video below.
