Golf Australia offering prizes simply by playing 9 holes

Club golfers and casual golfers are all a chance to win by playing 9 holes this summer.

Golf Australia’s PLAY 9 initiative kept crossing our radar but we hadn’t quite worked out the details until we went over to www.golf.org.au/play9/ to see what it’s all about.

In summary, golfers can win prizes simply by playing 9 holes!

Each time you play a 9 hole competition at your club you get an entry into the draw for a chance to attend either their state final, or directly to the national final.

Winners announced for the national final will get free airfares, accommodation and $200 for food and expenses.

And while you need to have a valid GA Handicap to be eligible, it’s not all about club golfers.

Casual golfers can also take part by submitting scores with two people being selected at random each month to receive a $100 Drummond Golf gift voucher.

At the end of the qualification period, all casual golfer entries go into the draw with two men and two women drawn at random to contest the Play 9 national final.
