Check out this stunning drone video of every hole at Narooma Golf Club
Explore Narooma Golf Club’s famed Hogan’s Hole, captured in drone footage by Australian videographer Scott Campbell.
There are a bunch of clever people producing some wonderful drone footage of golf courses around the world, and among them is Australia’s Scott Campbell. Known for his adeptness in video and photography, Campbell has skillfully captured various Australian golf courses including Cape Wickham, Barnbougle, and The Vintage.
In his latest creation, Campbell highlights Narooma Golf Club, featuring the renowned 141-metre, par-3 3rd hole, affectionately referred to as Hogan’s Hole. This hole gained recognition as the filming location for one of Paul Hogan’s Winfield cigarette commercials, and it’s a breathtaking golf hole that requires a golf shot over waves crashing onto the cliffs far below.
And it’s not just Hogan’s Hole that makes Narooma Golf Course one of Australia’s most memorable. Most golfers who play Narooma for the first time can’t help but notice the drastic changes in landscape throughout a round. Expansive, clifftop fairways, soon give way to undulating golf holes through heathland and huge gum trees, before you return to the wide ocean views to finish.
You can check out a stack of Scott’s videos on his YouTube Channel, and more of his photography work on his Facebook page. In the meantime, take a moment to sit back and take a tour over Narooma Golf Club.
And once you’re done, have a think about when you can get to Narooma and play it yourself.
