2015 US Open: Gary Player went on an epic rant about Chambers Bay
Gary Player is clearly not a fan of Chambers Bay.
When the Golf Channel begun their interview with Gary Player with “Good morning, Mr. Player, how are you?”, I don;’t think they were quite expecting what he was going to say next.
“This has been the most unpleasant golf tournament that I’ve seen in my life,” Players said.
For the record, I think he’s spot on about the golf ball going too far and there is a gigantic, belated need to roll it back so it doesn’t travel as far with modern technology.
I’m not so sure of some of his other arguments about the golf course though, but there are too many to pin down to discuss in any reasonable time.
