Watch Phil Mickelson play the backward, over-the-head shot in a tournament
We’ve never seen Mickelson try a shot quite as crazy as this in a golf tournament.
We’ve seen Phil Mickelson play some whacky shots before, one of them being the backward, over-the-head golf shot, but they are usually reserved for practice rounds.
This time Mickelson found himself up against the backward face of a bunker during the third round of The Barclays tournament at Plainfield Country Club.
I say the bunker poorly designed, but it has given us this little, albeit unsuccessful gem from Phil Mickelson.
