Watch Jason Day hole-out for eagle at Torrey Pines

Remember Jason Day? After a few years in the golfing wilderness, the former US PGA Champion bounced back with a great performance and one spectacular shot at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Torrey Pines has been a good place for Jason Day winning the Farmers Insurance Open on two occasions.

It was one of the last golf courses Day won back in 2018 when he claimed the Wells Fargo and Farmers Insurance Opens. Few were expecting Day to play well this week, having dropped to 129th in the world.

Day defied expectations and looked right in the tournament during the final round when he holed out for eagle at the par-4 15th hole.

The spectacular shot wasn’t enough as Day followed the feat with bogeys, eventually finishing in a tie for second place.

Luke List claimed his first victory on the PGA Tour, edging out Will Zalatoris with a amazing approach to the first playoff hole.
