Watch Cam Davis Deliver Clutch Birdies in Tumultuous Final Round at Pebble Beach

Australia’s Cam Davis showed off his elite short game during a challenging final round at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. — The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am concluded with Rory McIlroy securing his 27th PGA Tour victory, outpacing fellow countryman Shane Lowry by three strokes.

However, there was plenty to like for Australian golf fans with Cam Davis, Jason Day, Adam Scott and Min Woo Lee all finishing in the top-25. The spotlight also fell on Australia’s Cam Davis, whose eventful final round included two crazy moments, ultimately earning him a toe for fifth-place and a cheque for US$755,000.

Davis, who has two top-20 finishes to his name already in 2025, produced a couple of spectacular highlights during his final round.

On the par-4 4th hole, Davis’s approach shot from the heavy rough appeared destined to set up a promising birdie opportunity, landing just left of the flagstick.

In an unexpected twist, his ball ricocheted off his playing partner’s ball, rolling off the green. Despite this setback, Davis maintained composure and executed a precise chip-in from off the green, securing a birdie to get within one shot of the lead early in his round.

The 29-year-old Australian Open champion was also spectacular around the green on Pebble Beach’s iconic par-5 18th hole.

After pushing his second shot to the right, Davis found his ball nestled among tree roots at the base of a tree near the green. Undeterred, he delivered a remarkable recovery shot, skillfully spinning the ball back to within a few feet of the hole. This exceptional shot resulted in an unlikely birdie, cementing his position in the tournament’s top five.
