Sometimes a short-sided bunker shot is so awkward, you may as well use a putter.
American Ryan Palmer short-sided himself over the weekend during the PGA Tour’s BMW Championship.
Rather than play an awkward bunker shot over a shallow lip, Palmer went with the putter – to good effect.
