VIDEO Cameron Smith wins LIV Golf Chicago: post-round presser, final round highlights
In just his second start since joining LIV Golf, Australian Cameron Smith has bagged $6 million dollars after a three-stroke victory at LIV Golf Chicago.
Earlier in the week, Smith declined to answer a bizarre question from a golf influencing feed before the tournament began.
In a sign of how snarky professional golf has become, Smith was forced to laugh off a disrespectful question about Rory McIlroy.
“I just wanted to reflect on you being the 150th winner of The Open. I know you’d spoken about how many beers you could fit in the Claret Jug, I think it was two. I just want to know, how many of Rory McIlroy’s tears were you able to fit in it after it?”, ” Smith was asked said.
Someone (not me) asked Cameron Smith …
"You had spoken about how many beers you could fit in the Claret Jug; I think it was two. How many of Rory McIlroy's tears were you able to fit in it after you won?"
Smith: "I'm not answering that." pic.twitter.com/jRM56Z0xZd
