You won’t be surprised to hear that many golf courses across New South Wales have been forced to close due to torrential rain.

Some golf courses across Sydney’s west have experienced upwards of 300mm of rain in the past 48 hours with still more rain on its way.

The rain is forecast to ease over the next 24 hours when the clean up can begin.

Many of the golf clubs across Sydney have been sharing some incredible photos of golf courses lying underwater and out of play.
