Tiger Woods’ remarkable shot from behind a tree: video
Even the trees were no match for the Tiger Woods we saw today.
Tiger Woods has won again. His win at the AT&T National event marked his 74th career PGA Tour victory which puts him in outright second with only Sam Snead’s 82 victories ahead of him. A number that will surely be surpassed if this Tiger Woods turns up each week.
The final day was a two-way battle between Tiger Woods and Bo Van Pelt as all other golfers fell away. On the very tough Congressional layout, there were your fair share of brilliant and poor shots from both players on the tough finishing holes.
The recovery shot from Woods from behind a tree on the 12th though was nothing short of amazing. The fact the club didn’t snap is amazing in itself.

Another amazing golf shot from Tiger Woods. I agree, I can’t believe that 9 iron didn’t snap in half with the amount of force it smashed into that tree.
no body can deny….its time others to learn how he came up to execute that kind of impossible shot with his 9 iron remains intact
Yeah he is amazing. Some serious commitment there. You could see him deeply lining up the path the ball was going to take prior to hitting… then of course he executed without flinching. Commitment.
