Tiger Woods back injury; no return in sight

Reportedly, a back injury is still causing Tiger Woods plenty of grief.

Australian golf writer Robert Lusetich has reported bad news regarding Tiger Woods’ back injury. Woods is supposedly in a bad way since his back surgeries late last year. Lusetich expanded more on The Dan Patrick Show (above) after tweeting that the 14-time major champion is struggle to move and is in pain while sitting.

Lusetich is often right on the money when it comes to Tiger Woods information but there is a portion of the golf world claiming this is nothing more than a rumour at this stage. Stay tuned, but don’t expect Woods to be a sure thing to be playing at Augusta in April.

UPDATE: Tiger Woods’ agent Mark Steinberg has come out to deny the report.

Steinberg said: “It’s reprehensible that every few months someone makes something up and it’s treated like a real story. Tiger continues to work on his rehabilitation and we will have an accurate update at the appropriate time.”

Hard to know what to believe. Steinberg hasn’t exactly been the best source of Tiger Woods news in the past.
