Tiger to return to golf at 2010 US Masters

Tiger Woods will return to golf at the US Masters in the second week of April.

From Tiger’s website:

“The Masters is where I won my first major, and I view this tournament with great respect. After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta.”

It may appear like another selfish move. Most professional golfers have expressed a desire to see him return at a lesser tournament to ensure an element of calm before the US Masters.

Geoff Ogilvy did suspect the Masters may be Tiger’s first event in January; “The least amount of circus he could face would be if he went to Augusta first as that would be the most controlled environment he could be in”.

Anyone who can concentrate through the ensuing mayhem will have my utmost respect.

What do you think? Should he have played somewhere else first? Will he win? Should I start wearing my TW cap again?

  • I’ll be very surprised if Mr Woods can win this, he is apparently the favorite now. There will be a lot of difficult moments for him to face let alone match fitness.

I suspect he’ll need some miles under the belt before he starts winning.

My tip is to lay (pardon the pun) Tiger.

  • Just get out and play man!

I hope he comes out and wins, then goes to a strip club to celebrate and ends up on stage with his pants off being pleasured by one of the professional exponents of rythym!

  • Reports are that Arnold Palmer is not completely over the moon. The King got called by Tiger re skipping his tournament.

Arnie them rang him back the next day to “make sure I got this straight”.

Apparently Arnie was a serial philanderer as well. Not that it matters because that are their private lives. We are entitled as fans to know whats going on Golf wise.

I have forgiven Tiger for not only his personal life (none of my business), but also for his club throwing and his disrespect for fans.

I don’t know if I can forgive him for snubbing the King. Arnie’s Army may be out in force at Augusta and they may not forgive him either.
