This crazy golf bag is unlike anything we’ve seen before
At the PGA Golf Show, New Zealand company Avgar unveiled one of the most unconventional golf bags on the market.
The PGA Golf Show took place in Florida last week, the massive annual showcase of all the new equipment in golf this year. Among the notable innovations we spotted on social media was a golf bag from New Zealand company Avgar, which offers a radical departure from traditional designs.
Golf bags are generally designed for a single purpose—transporting clubs from one shot to the next. Avgar created a golf bag that flips the whole idea on its head. Or more accurately, it’s flipped it inside out.
It has reimagined this concept by positioning the clubs in sleek exterior slots, leaving room for additional storage compartments on the inside.
And the small, detachable bag that comes off the side (in the video below) is also mind-blowing. I’m not entirely sure who is buying these bags but there’s no denying its uniqueness. It’s one of the craziest golf bags we’ve ever seen.
A few extra notes on the bag design from the founder of Avgar on the website:
The on course provision of a single view of all my golf gear, effortless club access and definitely no rattling clubs, aided my calmer golf demeanour. I am saved from hurting my shoulder when retrieving clubs, I can see which club I want, at a glance, and I no longer wonder where my golf gear is located.
